Dhikr is one of the easiest acts of worship, but its reward is huge. You can say it while walking, cooking, cleaning, resting, driving, or sitting after ṣalāh.
1. Subḥān Allah wa biḥamdih 100 Times
Say:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ
The Prophet ﷺ said:
مَنْ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ فِي يَوْمٍ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ حُطَّتْ خَطَايَاهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ
Meaning: Whoever says “Subḥān Allah wa biḥamdih” 100 times in a day will have his sins removed, even if they are like the foam of the sea.

2. Lā Ilāha Illa Allah Waḥdahu Lā Sharīka Lah 100 Times
Say:
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
The Prophet ﷺ said:
مَنْ قَالَ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ فِي يَوْمٍ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ، كَانَتْ لَهُ عَدْلَ عَشْرِ رِقَابٍ، وَكُتِبَتْ لَهُ مِائَةُ حَسَنَةٍ، وَمُحِيَتْ عَنْهُ مِائَةُ سَيِّئَةٍ، وَكَانَتْ لَهُ حِرْزًا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ يَوْمَهُ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ، وَلَمْ يَأْتِ أَحَدٌ بِأَفْضَلَ مِمَّا جَاءَ بِهِ، إِلاَّ أَحَدٌ عَمِلَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ
Meaning: Whoever says it 100 times in a day receives the reward of freeing ten slaves, 100 good deeds are written for him, 100 sins are erased, he is protected from Shayṭān until evening, and no one comes with something better except someone who does more.

3. Two Words Heavy on the Scale
Say:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
The Prophet ﷺ said:
كَلِمَتَانِ حَبِيبَتَانِ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ، خَفِيفَتَانِ عَلَى اللِّسَانِ، ثَقِيلَتَانِ فِي الْمِيزَانِ: سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ الْعَظِيمِ
Meaning: Two words are beloved to Ar-Raḥmān, light on the tongue, and heavy on the scale: “Subḥān Allah wa biḥamdih, Subḥān Allah al-ʿAẓīm.”

4. Subḥān Allah 100 Times
Say:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
The Prophet ﷺ said:
أَيَعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَكْسِبَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ أَلْفَ حَسَنَةٍ
Then he ﷺ explained:
يُسَبِّحُ مِائَةَ تَسْبِيحَةٍ فَيُكْتَبُ لَهُ أَلْفُ حَسَنَةٍ أَوْ يُحَطُّ عَنْهُ أَلْفُ خَطِيئَةٍ
Meaning: Saying “Subḥān Allah” 100 times brings 1,000 good deeds or removes 1,000 sins.

5. Dhikr After Every Obligatory Prayer
After each farḍ prayer, say:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
33 times
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
33 times
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
33 times
Then complete 100 with:
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
The Prophet ﷺ said:
مَنْ سَبَّحَ اللَّهَ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ، وَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ، وَكَبَّرَ اللَّهَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ، فَتِلْكَ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ، وَقَالَ تَمَامَ الْمِائَةِ: لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ، وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، غُفِرَتْ خَطَايَاهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ
Meaning: Whoever says this after every prayer will have his sins forgiven, even if they are like the foam of the sea.

6. Lā Ḥawla Wa Lā Quwwata Illā Billāh
Say:
لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
The Prophet ﷺ said:
يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ قَيْسٍ، قُلْ: لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، فَإِنَّهَا كَنْزٌ مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ
Meaning: “Lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh” is one of the treasures of Paradise.

7. Sending Ṣalāh Upon the Prophet ﷺ
Say:
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ
The Prophet ﷺ said:
مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَىَّ وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ عَشْرًا
Meaning: Whoever sends one blessing upon the Prophet ﷺ, Allah ʿazza wa jal sends ten blessings upon him.
[Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 408]
8. Alḥamdulillāh Fills the Scale
Say:
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
The Prophet ﷺ said:
الطُّهُورُ شَطْرُ الإِيمَانِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلأُ الْمِيزَانَ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلآنِ أَوْ تَمْلأُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ
Meaning: “Alḥamdulillāh” fills the scale, and “Subḥān Allah” with “Alḥamdulillāh” fills what is between the heavens and the earth.

9. The Four Beloved Words
Say:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
The Prophet ﷺ said:
لأَنْ أَقُولَ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ مِمَّا طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ
Meaning: Saying these words is more beloved to the Prophet ﷺ than everything the sun rises over.

10. Sayyid al-Istighfār
Say:
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
The Prophet ﷺ said:
سَيِّدُ الاِسْتِغْفَارِ أَنْ تَقُولَ...
Then he ﷺ mentioned this duʿāʾ and said:
وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ النَّهَارِ مُوقِنًا بِهَا، فَمَاتَ مِنْ يَوْمِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُمْسِيَ، فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَهْوَ مُوقِنٌ بِهَا، فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصْبِحَ، فَهْوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ
Meaning: This is the best way to seek forgiveness. Whoever says it during the day with certainty and dies before evening is from the people of Paradise. Whoever says it at night with certainty and dies before morning is from the people of Paradise.

11. Bedtime Tasbīḥ
Before sleeping, say:
سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ
33 times
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
33 times
اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
34 times
The Prophet ﷺ said to Fāṭimah رضي الله عنها:
أَلاَ أُخْبِرُكِ مَا هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكِ مِنْهُ، تُسَبِّحِينَ اللَّهَ عِنْدَ مَنَامِكِ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ، وَتَحْمَدِينَ اللَّهَ ثَلاَثًا وَثَلاَثِينَ، وَتُكَبِّرِينَ اللَّهَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلاَثِينَ
Meaning: The Prophet ﷺ taught this before sleep and said it was better than what she had asked for.
